Does your child have anxiety, depression or disruptive behavior? The challenge in helping children manage their behavior better is to understand why they're doing what they're doing. In many cases disruptive, even explosive behavior stems from anxiety or frustration, which can impair their functioning in school and cause family turmoil.
Not all kids require clinical psychotherapy to manage behavior. Often what they need is a positive adult role model who can make a significant difference in their life to improve their relationships and social skills.
For children and adolescents who are experiencing anxiety, depression or disruptive behavior but don’t require a psychotherapist, the Family Peace Center provides Christian Counseling Mentorship.
Each $40 session includes spending one hour of quality time engaging with your child doing various activities. The nature of how the hour is spent is determined on a case-by-case basis for each child individually.
