MICHAEL P. FUJII, CO-FOUNDER, CHAIRMAN & PRESIDENT
Mike is the Co-founder, President, and Chairman of the Board of the Family Peace Center, Inc. (“FPC”). He oversees the communication and implementation of FPC’s mission, vision, and overall direction.
Mike is currently President and Chief Executive Officer of Berkley Custom Insurance Managers LLC, a member of W.R. Berkley Corporation. He has over fifty years of experience in the specialty property casualty insurance industry, including thirty-five years as chief executive officer and board member. He previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Worldwide Insurance Operations at Endurance Specialty Holdings Ltd., a publicly traded international insurer.
Mike serves on the board of other non-profit organizations, including Life Line Chaplaincy, Inc., which provides spiritual support to help Fairfield County’s First Responders (police, firemen, and EMT) deal with traumatic and emotionally exhausting scenarios, and India 600 Inc. to financially support the planting of Christian Churches in Gurgaon, North India (DBF Gurgaon) where less than 2% of the population are Christian. He also serves as Treasurer of Black Rock Church Prayer and Care ministry in Fairfield, Connecticut.
Previously, he was the Chairman of the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation – Northeast, which provides grants and volunteer service to charitable organizations in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
Mike holds a Master of Divinity in pastoral Counseling from Liberty University and a B.S. in Math/Accounting from Loyola University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Mike and his wife, Nancy, have lived on the East and West Coasts and now call Connecticut home. They reside with their youngest daughter in Fairfield County. Together, Mike and Nancy have four daughters and three grandchildren. Relocating to the Northeast in 2014, they founded the Family Peace Center to serve the spiritual and practical needs of the local communities.
